Winter Street of Gothenburg

Good afternoon beautiful people πŸ™‚

Hope everyone is having a good day.

So, I’ve just been looking through my old photos, reminiscing of the times I spend with my family traveling. If you haven’t already know, I love traveling. It’s my favorite thing to do. πŸ™‚ I’ve been very fortunate to have travel to a few very amazing countries.

I wanna know who else out there loves traveling? I bet a lot of you do!

Here’s a photo I edited. This photo was taken two years back when I was in Gothenburg, Sweden, visiting my relatives. Absolutely beautiful country. Would love to go there again!

Unfortunately when I was there, it was not snowing, nonetheless I got to see the magnificent country and spent quality time with my family. πŸ™‚

See you soon! πŸ™‚

Earth Hour

Hello beautiful people!

I’ve been so caught up with my family, went back to my hometown. Blah blah blah.

Anyway, just want to share my Earth Hour, it was last weekend.

My family and I went to IKEA/ The Curve to have dinner and just to walk around in IKEA, my aunt said there was a sale. In the end, didn’t get anything though. The dresser I wanted was out of stock. 😦

On a happy note, I had a good dinner! πŸ˜€ We went to TGI Fridays, loved the ambience there. Generally, I love going to The Curve, feels like I’m in another country because of the environment. πŸ™‚

I instagrammed this some time ago. πŸ™‚Image

Top left to right – Apple slushee & Tenesee Chicken (Can’t remember the exact dish)

Bottom left to right – Chicken fajitas with some cheese, guacamole, and sour cream (I think)

Everything was really good, I had the chicken fajitas. πŸ˜€

By the time we finished our dinner, it was almost 8.30pm. Walked backed to IKEA and saw the restaurant part of IKEA, the lights are already offed. They (IKEA people) were giving or selling (not too sure) portable lights to place on the table. Pretty cool. IKEA also turned off their signs outside the building. Yay for Earth Hour.

Had a pretty nice night. πŸ™‚

See you beautiful people soon! πŸ™‚

Mask Routine

Hello everyone!

To make up for the lack of posts, I decided to share with you guys, my mask routine.

I use a few different types of mask. If I am not lazy then I’ll apply the mask three to four times a week. It may sound a lot but usually I’m too lazy to do. πŸ™‚

Right now, I’m using the DeclΓ©or’s Aroma PuretΓ©, Etude House’s Wonder Pore Freshner, Wonder Pore Clay Clear, and Yogurt Wash-Off Pack.

I know that’s a lot of mask, I’m not sure if it’s good to use so many mask in a week, but it’s okay for me.

For the DeclΓ©or’s, I mix it with some toner because it’s pretty thick, the toner will help when I apply it on. For this, I use 1-2 in two weeks.

The Etude House’s Clay Clear mask is to minimize the pore, I was told to put some water on my face before applying. Same for the DeclΓ©or’s mask, I’ll use this 1-2 in two weeks, because these two masks are heavier, if it makes sense.

As for the Wonder Pore Freshner and Yogurt Wash-Off mask, these masks are mainly to keep my face refreshed. The Yogurt Wash-Off mask is pretty self explanatory. Normally, I’ll put the pack I want in the fridge beforehand so it’ll feel more refreshing.

The Wonder Pore Freshner, how do I use it? The product is actually a toner to minimize pore, but I was told that it can be used as a mask too, so I bought a pack of mask paper from SASA, spray a good amount of the freshner on the mask paper and put it on for about 10-15 minutes.

These are the products and the mask paper. (The Wonder Pore Clay Clear are in sample size, but I have already bought the original sized.) (Also, excuse the bag quality photo)

That’s all for today! Hope everyone had a good weekend! πŸ™‚

Colourful Nails

Hello everyone!

I am back with a post on nails. YAY!

Yesterday night, I decided to paint my nails, to be precise, I’ve only painted on my left hand due to laziness, but I am planning to paint my right hand tonight. πŸ™‚

These are the nails.

I wanted to try the chevron nails, but only for the tips, and for the middle finger, I decided to do the top instead of the tip.

My first attempt, not bad. Will practice more to get it right!

If you’re wondering how I did it, it’s really simple.

First, I skipped the base coat and started with the colour I chose and waited for it to dry.

Then I cut tape into small piece and tape it to the nail according to the shape I liked.

After that, I painted the nails with another colour, and immediately take the tape out.

Let it dry and finish it off with a top coat. Voila!

If you’re wondering what nail polish I was using, here they are.

From left to right. (Orange, Blue Suade Shoes, I Like Pina Coladas [looks so orange on camera, it’s a really nice bright pink], Purple in Paris, Notoriously Beautiful)

The last nail polish doesn’t have a name, it’s from SASA.

The orange, blue, both purple ones are from H&M. And the rest are from Rubi.

All of the nail polish dries up really quickly, which I love.

Sorry for the blur photos, and the colours are not showing up as it is in real life. Will try my best to take better shots.

Another Etude House haul is coming up. πŸ˜‰

Love, Sharmaine πŸ™‚
